CHOOSE FROM 3 DIFFERENT COLORS
Our pins come in three different colors - silver, bronze, and gold. All of them are made out of quality metal alloy, ensuring that they last forever! Katniss wore a gold mockingjay pin, so that tends to be our most popular. Even try all three! The bronze pins are probably a close 2nd to the gold because of the antiqued finish - they look like they were worn in battle!
MADE OUT OF QUALITY METAL ALLOY MATERIAL
If you're going to buy a mockingjay pin, don't buy a cheap knock-off! They're all over the place online! Buy one that's made from a solid, durable metal. All of our pins are made from a long-lasting, quality metal alloy material. How then can we sell them for such an inexpensive price if ours are such good quality? Good question! The truth is that we make a lot of them - I mean A LOT! They're popular! That's good news for buyers because we keep our costs down by producing so many.
HAVE BROOCH STYLE BACKS
Our The Hunger Games mockingjay pins are brooches and not your traditional "pins." In other words, they have a pin back that is capped with a tiny metal clamp to hold the pin in place. It works great on jackets, t-shirts, sweaters, backpacks, or anywhere else for that matter! Pin your favorite color anywhere!

What’s the History Behind the Mockingjay Pin?
WHAT IS A MOCKINGJAY PIN?
The mockingjay pin is Katniss Everdeen's tribute token in the 74th and 75th Hunger Games as part of the storyline in The Hunger Games novels written by Suzanne Collins. These pins have become wildly popular because they represent the hope to overcome the evil capitol in the series.
WHAT DOES A MOCKINGJAY PIN LOOK LIKE?
This coming from Katniss herself - "It's as if someone fashioned a small golden bird and then attached a ring around it. The bird is connected to the ring only by its wing tips. I suddenly recognize it. A mockingjay." So it was originally made from actual gold, but that would obviously be a bit expensive, so we have made ours out of a shiny gold finish (not real). BUT - because the shine and finish is so nice, it looks real! For some people, they prefer our bronze mockingjay pin or silver mockingjay pin.
HOW DID KATNISS GET THE PIN?
Madge Undersee gave Katniss the pin prior to her leaving District 12 for the Capitol. This came as a shock to Katniss because it was made from real gold and could have been used to feed the poor for months! She then wore it in the arena in her very first Hunger Games, but only just barely! The game-makers were going to take it because they thought it might be used as a weapon in the arena!
